The path to a successful online presence has many options, my objective is to provide you with a clear, simple, step-by-step process that focuses on generating results that make more money, whether you’re a business, ministry, musician, author, working at home or at a company office.
While there are other steps are critical, the first place to start is setting up your Facebook fanpage. NOTE: Don’t promote business activities on a personal page. Google won’t spider Facebook personal pages, and any efforts there will be more difficult.
In most cases, you want to create a fanpage that uses your personal name. Ultimately, you’re branding you. (example: Oprah Winfrey)
In some cases, such as a brick & mortar “business” or “church” where people are going to a large facility that is bigger than “a person”, then yes, you want to setup the company. (example: Taco Bell)
While we work on setting up and refining other elements of your online presence, in parallel it’s important to be building an online audience. Today, the simplest and most effective way to do that is utilizing Facebook. Done right. Professional, not personal.
